Ron Dicks
Western Area VP
Ron was elected one of two Western Area Vice Presidents at IFPTE’s 54th Convention in July 2003. A member of IFPTE Local 21, Ron has worked for the city of San Francisco as a Housing Inspector since 1986. He previously served the Local as Vice President of Political and Legislative Action and Trustee. Ron was appointed to serve as a County Council member of San Francisco’s Green Party in 2003, and is also a delegate to both the San Francisco Labor Council and the California Labor Federation. Born in Manhattan, New York, Ron attended Cornell University graduating in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban Planning.
