Delegates are encouraged to review the spacemap for the Rio's Convention Center to assist in getting to the Convention Hall and Registration area.

Delegate Registration Fee:

  • $150 - early registration (April 1st - July 31st)
  • $175 - regular registration (August 1st - start of General Session)
  • $1,500 - applied to Delegates who chose room accommodations other than the Rio.

Delegate/Guest Registration
Registration will take place on Sunday, August 9th from 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm at the Salsa Registration desk (see spacemap for location).

New Delegate Class
The New Delegate Class will be held in Pavilion 11 and will begin at 1pm on Sunday, August 9th (see spacemap for room location).

Dress Code for Convention Events
The opening reception will be held in the courtyard pool at the Flamingo Hotel on Sunday, August 9th, 6pm-9pm. The dress is casual, comfortable, and COOL. Delegates and guests wishing to swim may use the pool during our reception; lifeguards will be on duty.

The dinner show, Tony and Tina’s Wedding, will be held on Wednesday, August 12th, 6:30pm. Attendees will be guests at this interactive show; therefore, the appropriate attire should be for an evening wedding/reception.

Additional information on both events will be provided to delegates during registration.

Regional Photos
The Convention photographer will be taking photos of each region. The schedule is as follows:

  • Western/Eastern Federal Areas - Saturday, August 8th;
  • Atlantic/Canadian Areas - Monday, August 10th;
  • Midwest/Northwestern/Western Areas - Tuesday, August 11th;
  • SPEEA/Northeast Areas - Wednesday, August 12th

Regional photos (other than the Federal Areas) will take place after the plenary session recesses on each of the aforementioned days. The photographer will also take individual photos of all delegates during Delegate Registration.
