EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING        MAY 15, 2002

 

PRESIDENT DENNIS GALLAGER CALLED A MEETING TO APPROVED MONIES FOR THE FOLLOWING:

 

1.        DOC AT THE DOC'S UNION PUB, HIS WIFE DIED.  IT WAS SUGGESTED THAT WE SENT FLOWERS.   ERNIE SCHLEMBACK  RECEIVED A CHECK TO PAY FOR THE FLOWERS.

 

2.        DENNIS GALLAGER STATED THAT HE HAD BEEN LEAVE WITHOUT PAY TWO AND HALF DAYS TAKING CARE OF UNION BUSINESS.  HE STATED THAT THERE IS NO OVERHEAD JOB ORDER FOR HIM.

 

3.        LENNY ANDALIS SUGGESTED THAT THE UNION REINBURSE DENNIS GALLAGER FOR HIS TIME.  $32.20 PER HR TIMES 20 HOURS.  $644.00

 

4.         JOHN GARRITY THEN SAID HE HAD SPENT FOUR HOURS OF HIS OWN TIME AND WANTED TO BE PAID @ $25.00 PER HOUR TOTALING $100.00.

 

5.        $65.00 FOR FOOD DURING THESE MEETINGS.  FLSA & ADR (GUEST)

 

6.        THE SISTER OF LEE GIRER, SUSAN GIRER MCQUIGGAN, A NURSE 47 YEARS OLD, DIED OF BREAST CANCER. A DONATION OF $100.00 WAS GIVEN BODINE CANCER CENTER AT THE THOMAS JEFFERSON UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL, 11TH AND SANSOM STREETS, PHILADELPHIA

 

7.        TWO LOCAL 3 JACKETS WILL BE GIVEN TO THE TWO OFFICERS FROM LOCAL 4 WHO CAME DOWN TO HELP WITH THE FLSA CASE. $80.00 PLUS SHIPPING. EVP LENNY ANDALIS WILL HANDLE.

 

8.        ENDA BAILEY WILL HAVE TO CONVERT THE MONIES INTO MONEY ORDERS TO MAIL TO LEAP PACK. THIS WILL BE COMPLETED BEFORE NEXT MEETING.
