IFPTE Annual Scholarships

Each school year, IFPTE awards three college scholarships of $2,500.00 each to children or grandchildren of IFPTE members.

IFPTE's Scholarship is awarded to students who have demonstrated skills through academic achievement and service to their school and community and wish to continue their education beyond high school, whether in public and private colleges and universities, in community colleges, or in technical institutes.

The three IFPTE Scholarship awards are granted to one winner each from the public, private and federal sectors of IFPTE. Scholarship winners are chosen on the basis of their essays, academic achievement, and school and community activities.

The deadline for scholarship applications is March 15th of every school year; winners are selected on or about May 1 of each year. Applications for the 2009 school year will be available in December 2009. Interested parties can download a scholarship package from this website (when available), or contact IFPTE at the address and phone number at the bottom of the page to have a scholarship package mailed to you.

Students whose parents are members of IFPTE are also eligible for the Union Plus Scholarships. Visit www.UnionPlus.org for information on the Union Plus Scholarship.
