Carol Isen

Western Area Vice President—Carol Isen was re-elected Western Area Vice President at the 53rd Convention in July of 2000. She has held this position since 1994. Vice President Isen is the Associate Director of IFPTE Local 21 (San Francisco), where she has been employed for seventeen years. She serves as a Delegate to the San Francisco Labor Council, is an Executive Committee member of the Central Labor Council of Alameda County and a founding member of Pride At Work. A native of Buffalo, New York, Vice President Isen has been a resident of Northern California for eighteen years. She attended the University of Michigan and earned her Masters Degree in City and Regional Planning from the University of California Berkeley. Vice President Isen is also a 1992 graduate of the Harvard Trade Union Program.
