We Want To Work! #StopTheShutdown

From the Screen (Video)    |    From IFPTE    |    From Print

This unnecessary Government Shutdown is impacting the lives of 800,000 dedicated federal workers, through no fault of their own. IFPTE and the labor movement has gathered a host of resources to assist our brothers and sisters needlessly impacted by this political travesty.

#StopTheShutdown

To further assist furloughed federal workers, IFPTE will publish information we gather to assist those impacted by this unnecessary shutdown. We realize that we cannot capture everything occurring across the United States, so we ask that you share information with us so we can share it with our brothers and sisters in this struggle. Please send your information to Communications@ifpte.org.

Take Action

Call Your Senators - Tell them to prioritize ending the shutdown and request that they urge Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to bring the funding bill that the House of Representatives has already passed, the same one that passed the Senate in December 2018, to the Senate floor for a vote. We must keep the pressure on! Call tollfree @ 866/803-8830.

Take to Social Media - Urge Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to #CallTheVote to fund the government and end this unnecessary shutdown.
