Supreme Court Delivers Another Blow to Workers' Rights

In a 5-4 opinion by Justice Gorsuch, the Supreme Court delivered another blow to workers’ rights, holding that arbitration clauses in individual employment agreements trump the guarantee of protections of “concerted activity” in the National Labor Relations Act, and that these clauses can bar individual private sector workers from banding together to challenge violations of federal labor and employment laws.
