2015 Dominick D. Critelli, Jr. Scholarship Award Winners

IFPTE is honored to announce the winners of the 2015 Dominick D. Critelli, Jr. Scholarship Awards Program. From the many remarkable applicants, four $2,500 scholarships were to children of IFPTE members in the public sector, the private sector, the federal sector, and the Canadian area.

Scholarship applicants were judged on academic achievement, school and community activities, and on an essay entitled "What Being a Member of a Union Family Means to Me." We proudly present the 2015 Dominick D. Critelli, Jr. Scholarship Award winners.

Winston Ji

Winston's mother, Flora Chen, is a member of IFPTE Local 21. Winston graduated from California High School in San Ramon and will attend Arizona State University this fall.

Nicolas DeLucia

Nicolas' father, Joseph DeLucia, is a member of IFPTE Local 96 in Pittsburgh. Nicolas graduated valedictorian from Springfield High School in New Middleton, Ohio, and will attend Youngstown State University this fall.

Kayla Klasen

Kayla's father, Dean Klasen, is a member of Local 2001..Kyla graduated valedictorian from Auburn Mountain High School in Auburn, Washington, and will attend Washington State University this fall.

JunYu "Jayce" Bi

Jayce's father, Chad Bi, is a member of IFPTE Local 162. Jayce graduated from Fort Richmond Collegiate High School in Winnipeg this year and will attend the University of Manitoba this fall.

Scholarship applications for the upcoming 2016 school year will be available online in December 2015. The Dominick D. Critelli, Jr. Scholarship is open to children and grandchildren of IFPTE members.
