House Wastes No Time in Targeting Government Workers, IFPTE Responds

In just the first several days into the new 115th Congress, House leadership passed a rules package that will allow lawmakers to target specific federal employees from the House floor (Holman Rule), and plans to introduce legislation, the so-called PAGE Act (Promote Accountability and Government Efficiency) aimed at ending employee due process and collective bargaining rights.

IFPTE responded in letter to the Hill, telling lawmakers that these efforts, “violate our core American due-process values.”
