IFPTE Announces Its 2019 Dominick D. Critelli, Jr. Scholarship Award Winners

IFPTE is honored to announce the winners of the 2019 Dominick D. Critelli, Jr. Scholarship Awards. From the many remarkable applicants, $2,500 scholarships were awarded to children of IFPTE members in the private and Canadian sectors. No applications were not submitted from the public and federal sectors.

Scholarship applicants were judged on academic achievement, school and community activities, and on an essay entitled “What Being a Member of a Union Family Means to Me.” We proudly present the winners of the 2019 Dominick D. Critelli, Jr. Scholarship Awards.

Canadian Sector
Leah Dawn McPhail earned the scholarship award for the IFPTE Canadian Sector. The daughter of TEAM/IFPTE Local 161 members, Dwayne and Jennifer Gregorash, Leah graduated from College Pierre Elliott Trudeau in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This fall she will attend the University of Manitoba majoring in linguistics. Read Leah's essay >

Private Sector
Brandon M Teeny earned the scholarship award for IFPTE's Private Sector. His father, Michael N. Teeny, is a member of SPEEA/IFPTE Local 2001. Brandon graduated from Cleveland High School and will attend Valparaiso University in the fall. Read Brandon's essay >

Congratulations to our 2019 scholarship winners!

Scholarship applications for the upcoming 2020 school year will be available online in December.
