IFPTE Atlantic Area Locals Meet in New Jersey

This week, Locals in IFPTE’s Atlantic Area met in New Jersey to discuss many of the critical issues facing their memberships.

The meeting, chaired by Atlantic Area President/IFPTE Local 195 President Tim Rudolph, discussed issues ranging from the failure of the current and past New Jersey governors properly funding the New Jersey public sector pension fund, to the danger that agency fee collective bargaining laws governing state and local governments nationwide could soon be overturned by the United States Supreme Court.

Others in attendance were IFPTE Local 70 President Alan Barber (attending his first Atlantic Area meeting), IFPTE Atlantic Area Vice Presidents Gerry Newsome (IFPTE Local 195 VP) and Sean McBride (IFPTE Local 196 President), and IFPTE Local 194 President Kevin McCarthy along with IFPTE President Junemann and IFPTE Secretary-Treasurer Shearon.
