IFPTE Hosts Labor Meet-and-Greet for Chin Congressional Campaign
On April 26, IFPTE hosted a labor meet-and-greet in Washington, DC for Hawaii Lt. Gov. Doug Chin’s Congressional campaign. Lt. Gov. Chin was in town assisting attorneys presenting oral arguments before the Supreme Court’s in Trump v. Hawaii – the challenge to President Trump’s travel ban executive order, initiated by Chin when he was Attorney General of Hawaii.

During the meet-and-greet, Lt. Gov. Chin met with representatives from various unions and discussed how he would work to effectively champion labor unions’ priorities, federal workers’ issues, and represent the concerns of working Hawaiians in Congress.
