IFPTE Joins Workers' and Civil Rights Orgs, Labor Unions in Opposing NLRB Nominations

IFPTE signed a National Employment Law Project (NELP) sponsored letter this week urging the Senate Health, Labor, Education and Pensions (HELP) Committee to delay confirmation hearings for National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) nominees.

The 47 organizations who signed the letter warned HELP Committee Chairman Lamar Alexander and Ranking Senator Patty Murray that there are, “significant questions about each of these nominees…” and, “urge the committee to give members adequate time to hold meetings with them, explore their records in full, and prepare for a robust hearing on all three nominees.”

President Trump has nominated William Emanuel and Marvin Kaplan to the NLRB. Read the full letter below.
