IFPTE Participates in Rally for Federal Workers, Oral Arguments Against Trump EOs Heard in Court

As union lawyers were arguing in federal court on Wednesday, the labor movement was rallying outside the courthouse in Washington, DC.

The rally, attended by thousands of union members including IFPTE members and staff, was organized by AFGE, and was addressed by federal employee supporters including: AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka, Senators Schumer (NY), Cardin (MD), Hirono (HI) and Sanders (VT), and Representatives Pelosi (CA), Holmes-Norton (DC), Shakowski (IL), Raskin (MD) and Connolly (VA).

Federal employees held similar rallies across the country as well, including in Seattle and the Bay Area in California. To see more statements about the rallies, read The Stand.
