IFPTE mourns the passing of labor activist, Don Briscoe
Don Briscoe served the people of Washington State with his proud career as a devoted union leader. With his deep baritone voice and his steadfast belief in worker justice, he was easily recognized in Olympia and throughout the state. IFPTE President Junemann remarked, “Don was a strong voice for working families and will long be remembered by all who had the good fortune to work with him." Said former IFPTE Executive Vice President Mike Waske, "Don was a champion of labor. He was a friend and a brother, who had an agenda to fight for the underdog. and I’ll always remember his friendship."
