Shearon Joins IUC Affiliate Presidents Urging Inclusion of Concrete Labor Protections in NAFTA 2.0

AFL-CIO Industrial Union Council (IUC) leaders signed a letter this week to House lawmakers to, “oppose consideration of NAFTA 2.0 until our long standing concerns have been satisfactory addressed and our core recommendations are incorporated into the final text of the agreement.”

The letter further warned that, “acceding to demands from corporate interests to rush a vote will result in an agreement that once again fails U.S. workers…”.
