Stone on Capitol Hill to Talk Taxes, NASA

This week IFPTE Local 30 President/Western Federal Area Vice President, Lee Stone, was on Capitol Hill with IFPTE legislative staff visiting key offices in opposition to the Senate tax bill.

Arguing that the tax bill represents a huge shift of tax benefits from middle and lower income wage earners to the wealthy and multi-nationals, IFPTE visited the offices of Senators Corker (TN), Flake (AR), Rubio (FL) and Collins (ME), as well as several House offices, urging a NO vote on the Senate bill, and ultimately a NO vote on a final conference report.

Stone also discussed key NASA issues impacting IFPTE members with the offices of Senators Feinstein, Edwards, and Van Hollen, among others.
