IFPTE Endorses Congressman Adam Smith for the House of Representatives for the 9th District in Washington State
In our first Congressional endorsement for the upcoming 118th Congress, IFPTE lends its backing to Congressman Adam Smith, for a 14th term in the United States House of Representatives. Rep Smith is running for reelection in Washington’s 9th District, which includes Tacoma, SeaTac, Tukwila, Kent, Renton, Seattle, and Bellevue.
IFPTE’s executive officers say that Rep. Smith, who is the Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, has “not only delivered for their constituents at home, but they have also been solid supporters of labor and collective bargaining rights in Washington, DC.”
