IFPTE Members Attend SFLRP Conference in Washington, DC

Members and leaders from IFPTE Local 98 and 777 traveled to Washington, DC this week to attend the annual Society of Federal Labor Relations Professionals (SFLRP) annual training.

The training addressed many topics, including the Federal Service Labor-Management Relations Statute, terms, and roles of third parties; bargaining units and exclusive representation; statutory rights of the parties; representation rights; formal discussions and investigations; grievances and arbitration, and unfair labor practices (ULPs).

Among the IFPTE attendees were IFPTE Local 98 President Chris Dols and IFPTE Local 777 President Colin Smalley. The group also took time to visit with IFPTE national officers and staff while they were in Washington.
