IFPTE Requests Senate HELP Committee Advance Gwynne Wilcox’s Nomination to Continue to Serve on the National Labor Relations Board

Prior to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pension Committee’s bipartisan vote to advance the renomination of Gywnne Wilcox, President Biden’s nominee for the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), IFPTE reminded Senators on the Committee that Ms. Wilcox has “demonstrated a clear commitment to workplace democracy and making sure workers have the right to form and join unions” during her the past two years she’s served on the NLRB.

The HELP Committee advanced Wilcox’s nomination to the full Senate with a bipartisan 12 to 9 vote, with Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) joining Democratic Senators to vote for Wilcox.
