Society of United Professionals Extends Solidarity to PSAC Strike

This past Wednesday, 155,000 federal civil servants represented by the Public Service Alliance of Canada union walked off their jobs and went on Canada’s largest strike in history. The Society of United Professionals/IFPTE Local 160 issued a statement fully supporting these workers who are fighting for better wages in the midst of soaring inflation and an ongoing cost-of-living crisis, for job security, for remote work protections and a better work-life balance, against racism and discrimination in the workplace, and against contracting out and privatization.
