“IFPTE is proud to honor Black History Month. Sadly, the hard-fought rights that were achieved by the Civil Rights and Labor Movements decades ago are being eroded and outright eliminated by not only the most powerful politicians in our society, but also our courts.  This year’s Black History Month is as important as it has ever been, and is a time for those of us in the Labor Movement to reinforce and recommit to fighting to reverse these attacks.  IFPTE is certainly here to do just that.  IFPTE honors the Black workers, union members, and union leaders of today and all of those who came before us.  Our great Labor Movement would not be here without you! Celebrate #BlackHistoryMonth.”
