IFPTE's 2027 Legislative Advocacy Conference will be held Sunday, January 31 - February 4, 2027. This is an annual event bringing IFPTE members together for training and networking opportunities.

As always, the Legislative Advocacy Conference will focus on policy and legislation critical to the interests of all sectors of IFPTE’s membership, and includes Member visits to lawmakers on Capitol Hill.

Our 2027 Conference takes on particular importance because of the expected volume of new congressional Members giving in-person attendees the opportunity to meet Members and/or their staff to educate them on their respective issues.

No matter what sector you work for or represent, whether at the state and local level, at the federal level, or in the private sector, your attendance can help to shape a new direction for the issues affecting your Local, IFPTE, and the labor movement as a whole.

In preparation for the Conference, attendees are encouraged to secure housing at the conference hotel and begin constructing Local-specific issue briefs. Attendees can find information on the conference hotel under the Housing tab within the Registration portal. Locals will receive an invitation, via email, to register for the Conference and housing.
