No Kings isn’t just a slogan—it’s a battle cry!

Our rights were never given — they were won. From the ballot box to the picket line, generations of Americans have fought to secure fundamental freedom and dignity for all of us. Now, President Trump is trying to rule like a dictator by eliminating collective bargaining rights for federal workers, firing immigration judges who don’t match his ideological bent, making tax cuts permanent for billionaires and corporations, paid for by gutting Medicaid and SNAP, two of our country’s safety net programs, and adding $4 billion to our national debt.

In June, more than 5 million Americans gathered across the nation to stand against President Trump’s attempted dictatorship. IFPTE, along with more than 230 organizations, is partnering with the No Kings movement for the October 18 event. As such, we welcome our Locals and members to join us for the kick-off call on September 18 at 8:00 p.m. EST. As President Trump escalates his authoritarian power grab, the NO KINGS movement continues to rise stronger.

We are united to remind the world: America has No Kings. No Kings is a peaceful, non-violent movement of millions of Americans from all walks of life rising up to make it clear: We don’t do dictators or kings in America. We never will. We’re organizing and taking action to defend each other and our communities, demand dignity, and say enough to all of the Trump administration’s power grabs. Millions took to the streets in June; let’s grow those numbers when we come together on October 18.
