NASA NEEDS HELP! – Protest Against Cuts to NASA on Monday June 30 at 7-11 AM at NASA HQ

Congress has not passed cuts to NASA’s budget, but the Trump Administration and NASA leadership is moving forward as if they have the authority to unilaterally dismantle NASA’s missions, workforce and the fundamentally diminish the agency!

IFPTE welcomes union members and allies who support NASA to stand up for our nation’s premier space, aeronautics, and scientific research agency. We are rallying to save NASA and protesting the illegitimate efforts by the Trump and NASA leadership to slash NASA’s capabilities, the NASA workforce’s expertise, and the pioneering scientific research, technological development, and exploration that makes NASA a world-leading organization.

Both IFPTE and GESTA-IFPTE Local 29 are endorsing this event. NASA NEEDS HELP is not organized by IFPTE or GESTA-IFPTE Local 29 — it is organized by Americans who are deeply concerned that the damage that this Administration intends to do to NASA cannot be easily fixed and would be a loss for the American public. For more information on the event, visit the event organizers’ website and see the event flyer here: https://sites.google.com/view/nasa-needs-help

Where: NASA Headquarters, 300 E St, SW, Washington, D.C.

What: Protest outside of NASA HQ to DEMAND that TRUMP, OMB, DOGE, and NASA’s administration wait for Congress to pass a budget before enacting further cuts!

NOTE: All federal employees attending the NASA NEEDS HELP event are appearing and participating in their personal capacity, not in their official capacity.

Congress has not passed a Fiscal Year 2026 budget and IFPTE is committed to making sure the starvation-level spending in the FY26 President’s Budget Request is not enacted.
