SPEEA Participates in ICE Out Rally

A total of 10 SPEEA officers, staff, and retirees took part in the June 25 informational picket outside the Henry M. Jackson Federal Building in Seattle. About 100 members of Seattle-area unions came out to support federal workers who say they've been harassed, intimidated, and followed by ICE agents looking to scoop up immigrants coming to federal offices and the adjacent Courthouse for appointments with immigration officers.

The SPEEA/IFPTE Local 2001 delegation was led by SPEEA Northwest Vice President Lynette Shiroma, an engineer at Boeing.
