After Joining Labor Amicus Brief on Birthright Citizenship Case, IFPTE Joins Labor, Activists at Supreme Court
IFPTE president, Matt Biggs, and Assistant to the Executive Director, Brian Kildee, was proud to join others from the Labor Community and activists on Wednesday at the Supreme Court as the nation’s highest court heard arguments related to the Trump Administration’s attempt to eliminate constitutionally protected birthright citizenship. IFPTE, which represents naturalized citizens, permanent residents, and work-authorized visa holders, joined a February 24th Union Amicus brief led by SEIU in support of upholding the constitution. A decision by the Supreme Court is expected later this Summer.
