Engineering Association Hosts Its Annual DUR Training Conference

Engineering Association (EA/IFPTE Local 1937) president, Anthony Chorney, and the EA board and staff hosted EA members this week in Chattanooga, TN, at their annual Designated Union Representative (DUR) training conference. 

The conference, jointly attended by TVA labor relations managers, featured multiple workshops such as grievance handling and communications.  Among the speakers at the conference were IFPTE International President Matt Biggs and former longtime EA/Local 1937 president and current International Secretary-Treasurer, Gay Henson.  The conference was highlighted by an EA social event and picnic at the Chattanooga Lookouts minor league baseball game on Wednesday evening.
