Over 1,000 Southern California Edison Workers File for Union Election with ESC Local 20

On Thursday, April 17, over 1,000 planners, designers, and field technicians at Southern California Edison (SCE) filed for a union election with the National Labor Relations Board. These workers play a crucial role at SCE, ensuring the delivery of essential utilities to millions across Central, Coastal, and Southern California.

We applaud the workers who are organizing at Southern California Edison and call on the company to provide a neutral environment free of union-busting tactics so that they can vote without interference or intimidation. These workers provide an indispensable service to the people of California, and their right to come together collectively to improve their working conditions must be respected and protected,” said John Mader, ESC Local 20 President and IFPTE Executive Council Executive Vice President.
