IFPTE Endorses John Morse for Maryland’s 3rd Congressional District

IFPTE calls Morse, “A Union Brother who will fight for Working Families”

WASHINGTON, DC – The International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers (IFPTE), representing upwards of 90,000 workers across North America, including in the State of Maryland, today announced their endorsement of John Morse for the United States House of Representatives.

Below are comments from IFPTE national leaders:

IFPTE President Matt Biggs: “John Morse is a Union Brother who comes from a Union family and someone who will fight for working families in the United States House of Representatives. He understands the critical link between building strong union density across all sectors of our economy and how it impacts better wages, benefits, and working conditions. There is little doubt that he will take his Union background with him into the Halls of Congress, and IFPTE is proud to lend him our full backing.”

IFPTE Secretary-Treasurer Gay Henson: “John Morse not only comes from a strong Union family, he has worked as a lawyer fighting for workers and representing the Association of Flight Attendants. Throughout his campaign, he has made fighting for such things as passage of the PRO Act and Public Sector Freedom to Negotiate Act a central theme of what he expects to do in Congress. IFPTE is honored to endorse his candidacy.”
