IFPTE Local 3 Hosts Members, International for Annual Oktoberfest Gathering, Building PAC

IFPTE Local 3 President, Paul Dobias, and executive board members Sean Shanahan, Alicia St. John, Cathryn Johnson, Robert Hillgrube, and Rockisha Mullings hosted their annual Oktoberfest member celebration last week in Philadelphia.

All dues paying members and retirees were invited to the event, which included an update from President Dobias on the Local’s work to fight against the union-busting attacks on the membership by the administration, as well as a presentation from International president Matt Biggs about the importance of supporting the IFPTE LEAP-PAC.

Dobias commented that, “Starting under Brother John Garrity’s leadership, Local 3’s leaders and members were the first to participate in the PAC building program when we launched it nearly ten years ago, and I am committed to continuing this support under my tenure as President.  The PAC is obviously very critical to uplifting our legislative efforts.”

IFPTE thanks Local 3’s entire membership for this support.
