Local 12 President, Tiera Beauchamp, Receives Prestigious “20 Under 40” Leadership Kitsap Honor

IFPTE Local 12 President, Tiera Beauchamp, will be honored with Leadership Kitsap’s “20 Under 40” award. Leadership Kitsap’s 20 Under 40 Awards Program seeks to identify and celebrate exceptional business leaders under the age of 40 who are dynamic trailblazers in the Kitsap community. They amplify their stories and celebrate their successes, inspiring a strong community of young leaders who are empowered to use this platform for positive impact. By fostering connections, they can harness this network to drive meaningful change, enhance our region’s economy, and elevate civic dialogue with integrity and purpose.

“It has been a true honor to receive this award as the President of Local 12. We have experienced some challenging times over the last 5 years as a federal local. What keeps me going is my team, my members, the solidarity of other Locals in Washington state and in IFPTE, and our supportive leadership at the International. As a leader, I hope to inspire others to be their authentic selves and break out of the box of tradition in order to take care of their people. We will all get through this as a family.”

Tiera, who was accepted into and completed the Washington State AFL-CIO's Path to Power program earlier this year, will be honored on January 22nd for this award. Learn more about this award and Leadership Kitsap  here, and CONGRATULATIONS Tiera!
