Ahead of the House vote to end the partial government shutdown by passing five Fiscal Year 2026 (FY26) appropriations bills, Senate Amendments to H.R. 7418, IFPTE urged the passage of the legislation and also urged lawmakers “accountability, oversight, and justice for overbroad DHS immigration enforcement operations that have resulted in too many tragic outcomes.”
