The Society's Bruce Power Local Holds Annual Delegates Council

Leaders from the Society of United Professionals’ (SUP) Bruce Power Local met this week in Port Elgin, Ontario, as part of their annual Delegates Council. 

SUP Bruce Power Vice President, Dave Ceksters, chaired the day-long meeting, which focused on recently completed contract negotiations, internal membership engagement, and the Union’s work to support policies promoting public investments in new nuclear technologies, including Small Modular Reactors (SMRs). 

IFPTE international organizer, Bill Fitzpatrick, and SUP/IFPTE Local 160 organizer, Michelle LeBlanc, presented a workshop on engaging members in union organizing while SUP/IFPTE Local 160 president, Rebecca Caron, and IFPTE president, Matt Biggs, addressed the delegates.
