Bellamy-Lewis Recognized by Rutgers University During Black History Month

Rutgers University Civil Rights Committee recognized IFPTE international representative, Karen Bellamy-Lewis this week as part of their Black History Month Spotlight series.  “African Americans have played a significant role in the history of the labor movement, advocating for civil rights and workers’ rights, even in the face of exclusion,” said Bellamy-Lewis. The Spotlight went on to honor Karen’s work in the labor movement, and within the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists (CBTU).
