Legislative Director Khan Participates in ARI Meetings on AI Safeguards

IFPTE legislative director, Faraz Khan, participated this week in meetings in Washington, DC hosted by Americans for Responsible Innovation (ARI) and with other stakeholder groups to discuss oversight recommendations involving Artificial Intelligence (AI) that protects jobs, unions, and communities.  Khan commented that, “as IFPTE has been recommending to Congress, emerging technologies like AI must not replace human decision-making, and must be in the public interest.  IFPTE was pleased to be invited to work in coalition with ARI and their partners in moving forward with a working-class agenda that will protect working families and our communities.”
