IFPTE Congratulates and Thanks SPEEA/IFPTE Local 2001 Midwest Director, BJ Moore, on His Retirement

(l-r): Bill Dugovich, BJ Moore, and Paul Shearon

SPEEA/IFPTE Local 2001 honored and thanked Brother BJ Moore this week as he is set to retire after 25 years of service to SPEEA members.

Brother Moore first served as Midwest Contract Administrator in 2002 before assuming his current role as Midwest Director in 2016.  Before coming to SPEEA, BJ was a SPEEA member employed by Boeing in Wichita, Kansas.

Retired IFPTE President and former SPEEA Organizing Director/longtime member, Paul Shearon, and retired SPEEA Communications Director, Bill Dugovich, both travelled to Wichita from Seattle to be among the many that celebrated BJ’s career.  Shearon commented that, “Whether I was SPEEA Organizing Director, IFPTE Secretary-Treasurer, or IFPTE President, BJ and I have continued to work closely together for twenty-five years. He always fought hard for, and delivered for SPEEA’s membership, something he should be proud of, and something that I applaud him for.  SPEEA is undoubtedly losing one of its most effective staff members.   All of us wish him and his family nothing but the best as he enters retirement.”

IFPTE thanks our Union Brother, BJ Moore!
