Labor Says NO to Medicaid Cuts – IFPTE is One of 38 Unions Opposing Medicaid Cuts

IFPTE, along with 37 other labor organizations, sent a letter this week to all House and Senate lawmakers urging them to, “reject the inclusion of any cuts to the Medicaid program in budget reconciliation legislation currently under discussion in Congress, and instead work to preserve and strengthen this crucial component of the American health system.” 

Led by Local 21, IFPTE Locals across the United States and the International are currently undertaking a campaign aimed at holding all members of Congress who vote to cut Medicaid accountable.  See the House and Senate letters here and send your own letters to lawmakers here.
