SOLIDARITY ALERT: SPEEA/IFPTE Local 2001 Supports Cafeteria Workers at Boeing in Their Negotiations

Last week, the SPEEA Northwest Council passed a motion of support to stand in Solidarity with 300 Boeing cafeteria workers represented by UNITE HERE Local 8 in Puget Sound and Portland who are facing difficult contract talks with Eurest/Compass, the company Boeing contracts with for their cafeteria services.  The motion of support is in addition to an online petition to collect members’ signatures, along with promoting and participating in informational picketing on July 23, on public sidewalks outside of Boeing at Everett and Renton.  SPEEA and IFPTE are proud to continue to stand in Strong Solidarity with our Union Siblings from UNITE HERE Local 8.
