“Union Proud, Union Strong” – IFPTE Local 195 Settlement Equals Payments for Members

IFPTE Local 195 recently scored a victory for members when they reached a settlement with the state of New Jersey to guarantee reimbursements to impacted workers for their Clothing Maintenance Allowance (CMA).  The settlement reached came after a series of grievances filed by the Local.  Local 195 President/Atlantic Area Vice President, Brother Steve Pinto, commented that, “it was unfortunate that we were forced to file grievances in order to force management to do the right thing here, but at the end of the day we are pleased that we were able to reach a settlement that allowed our members to get properly reimbursed.  This is yet another example of how our Union delivers for the members, and how our Solidarity makes us stronger.”  Congratulations Local 195!
