SUP Attends Launch of Port Hope’s Nuclear Discovery Centre

The Society of United Professionals (SUP/IFPTE Local 160) was pleased to attend the launch of the new Nuclear Discovery Centre in Port Hope, Ontario - a learning hub to explore the benefits of Ontario Power Generation's proposed nuclear generation project in Wesleyville.

The hub provides a great opportunity for education and engagement with community stakeholders, residents, and rights holders about the project, which is projected to create more than 10,000 jobs and add $235 billion to Canada's GDP. The centre officially opened this past Tuesday!
