“We’re Ready for Action” – July SPEEA Spotlite Reports on Contract Negotiations, H.O.P.E. Award Winner, Angela Hottle

The latest edition of the award-winning Union newsletter, the SPEEA Spotlite, was released on July 1st, informing SPEEA’s 16k-plus members about the Union’s negotiations with the Boeing Company for the prof and tech members employed by the aerospace company. It also provided a summary of the recently completed annual SPEEA convention and training conference held in early-June, and included an article entitled, “Why I Keep Showing Up,” from Angela Hottle who received this year’s Stephen Pezzini Helping Other People Excel (H.O.P.E.) award.  Hottle, who has served in many Union roles, including in her current position as SPEEA Midwest Council Rep, wrote that, “To me being a member isn’t just about receiving the benefits of the union – it’s about contributing to it and helping make it the best version of what it can be.”
