IFPTE L160's Bruce Local AGM Brings Members Together for Bargaining and Engagement

Members of The Society of United Professionals’ Bruce Local gathered for their Annual General Meeting to receive updates on local activities, bargaining, and the work underway to strengthen member engagement.

The meeting included reports from the Secretary-Treasurer, Local Vice-President, and Local Committee, along with an overview of current grievances. Members also received updates from their bargaining team and a presentation on the negotiations, followed by a discussion of opportunities to support the bargaining process.

A focus of the evening was building member participation through the Communications Action Network (CAN) and bargaining support committees. Members discussed ways to stay informed, connect with colleagues, and take part in activities supporting their Local.

The meeting concluded with a question period, giving members an opportunity to raise issues and discuss priorities for the year ahead.
