SPEEA Professional Unit and Technical Unit Members Agree to Four-Year Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Boeing Company
On Thursday, October 1, SPEEA/IFPTE Local 2001 announced that the 17,000 members in the union’s Professional and Technical bargaining units have both ratified four-year contract offers from Boeing.
The negotiating team’s message directed to SPEEA members acknowledged the favorable terms of the contract “would not have been possible without your individual actions and our collective strength.” The negotiating team also noted that “we have a new agreement, but our work is not done.”
IFPTE applauds the tremendous engagement and efforts of SPEEA members, union leaders, and staff throughout the contract negotiations, and IFPTE looks forward to working with SPEEA leaders in the Pacific Northwest and the Midwest to advance the membership’s priorities between contract negotiations.
