The Society/IFPTE Local 160 Opens New Oshawa Office

The Society of United Professionals has officially opened its new Oshawa, Ontario office, marking an important milestone in its growing presence across Canada. The new office will provide a permanent base to better serve Society members while strengthening relationships with community organizations, government, industry and other partners. The opening brought together Society representatives, members and community leaders to celebrate the organization’s commitment to Oshawa and the surrounding region.

“The opening of our Oshawa office is about more than establishing a new location,” said Rebecca Caron, President of The Society. “It reflects our long-term commitment to our members and to being an active and constructive partner in the Durham Region community.” IFPTE President Matt Biggs joined the delegation for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. He highlighted the importance of the opening as The Society continues to grow and expand its engagement with professionals across Canada.

The Society looks forward to making the Oshawa office a hub for member engagement, community partnerships and continued growth in the region.
