Bell Continues to Offshore Canadian Telecommunications Jobs - IFPTE Urges Government to Reform Regulatory Framework

As Bell Canada continues to offshore Union-represented telecommunications jobs, including jobs of TEAM/IFPTE Local 161 members in Manitoba, IFPTE leaders sent a letter this week to the federal Minister of Industry, Mélanie Joly, expressing, “serious concerns regarding the accelerating loss of Canadian telecommunications jobs…”, and urging the Canadian government to, “consider reforms to the current telecommunications regulatory framework…”.
